Cinematographer, John Reed, of Ocean Light Images, beautifully captured the 2025 Burning Bear event at Ocean City Marketplace in Washington. This year we gathered to honour the legendary chainsaw carver, Judy McVay - one of the original female carvers. This year at Burning Bear a new award was established in honour of Judy's life and work: The Judy McVay Trailblazer Award. I was honoured to be the first recipient.
