BURNING BEAR

Hosted on the grounds of Ocean City Marketplace. This corner carries a history well rooted in chainsaws and the diversity in inventory shows it! This event itself is an effigy of a kind that honours community members that have crossed over from the past year. Romona and Ivan Hass are gracious hosts and legendary event coordinators. 

CHAINSAW CARVERS RENDEZVOUS

This annual gathering is on every carvers bucket list. Attendance numbers ebb and flow from year to to year, ranging from 80-239. Hosted on the old mill grounds the Boni family have coordinated this carvers gathering for 24 years running. A highlight of the year without a doubt.

MISSION VALLEY CHAINSAW CARVING RENDEZVOUS 

13 carvers will gather to push their saws and logs to the limits of their best. I'm very excited to be competing in this beautiful state and against such a fine group of carvers. 

OREGON DIVISIONAL CHAINSAW CARVING CHAMPIONSHIP

This is a fun one, with two divisions: professional and semi-professionals. It promises a range of styles all from the same tool - the chainsaw! Set in the cute little town of Reedsport. 

TRANSFORMATION ON THE SHORE

Frank James Park, located on Willow Point in Campbell River, B.C. This year it will be an event (not a competition). Come by Wednesday through Sunday morning to watch the logs transform into beautiful sculptures. Auction will be held Sunday afternoon. 

LOGGER SPORTS

If you find yourself in the area this weekend come check out the fun! This event draws in some serious talent. Located at the Loggers Memorial Bowl at Willingdon Beach...follow the sounds of the saws to find us. 

BROWN'S BAY RESORT BC WEEKEND CELEBRATION 

This event draws in large carving talent to a beautiful fishing resort just north of Campbell River, BC. Nestled in an area with tall cedars and a calm cove that is active with seals and eagle ... and not to mention the fish! 

HOPE WORLD CLASS CHAINSAW COMPETITION 

This year will be yet another fantastic group of carvers gathering to compete. Come check out the work of carvers from near and far! This year you can even pick up a freshly published book on the chainsaw carvings of Hope, BC.

2ND ANNUAL WEARS VALLEY CARVING EVENT Chainsaw carving with a beautiful view of the magical Smokey Mountains, with a brewery, bakery, fresh kettle corn and the cutest gift shop all on site!

CHETWYND INTERNATIONAL CHAINSAW CARVING CHAMPIONSHIP

This competition draws in the best of the best from all corners of the world. I'll be assisting the multi-talented carver Ryan Villiers. This carver pulls out the details of each and every carving he does. Come check it out, well worth the drive!
